Grade 8 Soccer Referee Clinic

So you can referee or assistant referee on all youth games and amateur adult games.
This is nominally a 16-hour clinic, including testing. A lot of that time will be spent before the scheduled class time doing online training so that we can finish the classroom time in 8 hours. This is a split time clinic, including classroom time and field time as a real assistant referee on an actual game.
Classroom session 1 is Thursday, Sept. 8, 6:30PM to 9PM at NMSU, Gerald Thomas hall.
Classroom session 2 is Saturday, Sept. 10, 8AM to 10:30AM at NMSU, Gerald Thomas hall.
Field session is immediately after the Saturday classroom session at the soccer fields, where you will be assigned to be an assistant referee on an actual game. attendance at all sessions is required.
Students should arrive on time and plan on attending all sessions of the clinic. Please bring your own drinks/lunch/snacks. Be prepared to go outside as part of the training. Bring pencils and paper. Bring a whistle.
No prior referee experience is necessary.
Total fees: $75. Fees include class instructor fees and registration with US Soccer for 2016-2017. Annual recertification is required. Paying online is preferred. Checks should be made out to 'NMSRA'.
Minimum class size is 10 students. The class may be canceled if the minimum class size is not met. Maximum class size is 16.
